Getting started
What BugCrawl is, and the three kinds of claims it keeps apart.
BugCrawl is a contract directory and a source-verification relay. You can search contracts, look any address up against its network's explorer, submit source code for verification, and follow an address's transactions on the trail map.
Three claims, three places
| Claim | Who makes it | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| Source verified | The network's explorer (e.g. Blockscout) | Explorer API, mirrored in BugCrawl's database and optionally anchored in VerificationRecordStore |
| Security attestation | A curator-approved reviewer | AttestationRegistry |
| Listed | Anyone who looks a contract up, or a registrar | Database directory and ContractDirectory |
None of these is a statement that a contract is safe.
